As a Carrie Bradshaw follower, I unabashedly believe that we could never have too many shoes. Pumps, sandals, boots, flats and all the classic pairs of shoes must be in your closet.
However there are few staples which we trust for almost every occasion. Few amongst those are a pair of comfortable flats which we can be paired with anything from jeans to a chiffon dress and a pair of heels that will match with as many of your evening dresses as possible.
So when I heard about Vincci from a friend during a casual talk about her lovely sandals, I knew this brand has definitely something for me. Established in 1981, VINCCI markets contemporary fashion accessories, including shoes, bags and belts. It appeals to those who has a penchant for designer inspired shoes and is created for all ages and nationalities.
So I went ahead and picked two completely opposite shoes for my casual and date night outfits. There were a pair of pretty beige slip-ons and floral kitten heels. I absolutely love the design and the comfort they offered. So below is how I styled them up with my daily wear.
The Kitten Heels
The kitten heels have a white base with small floral print and golden detailing on the heels. They are perfect for the days when you need to wear heels but can’t justify taking an Uber to every appointment.
I styled it with cropped jeans and let the heels do the talking. I wore a subtle top and bottom but matched my floral kittens with a floral long shrug. A top bun and hoops gave this look a cohesive style.
Another way is to team them with the classic combo of white shirt and blue jeans. My gold and pink earrings gave a dash of color that suited my heels. So the look was charming without being too loud but still insisting on elegance and poise.
I somehow feel a top bun does justice to pumps or kitten heels as it looks well thought of and is suitable for someone like me who has a tall stature. So for my third look I chose a body hugging black dress with halter neck and to give this look a coordinated feel, a Burberry scarf was added. This was so unapologetically bold and straight forward.
Comfort above anything! If you live by this, these slip-ons are a must have! No need to bend down to tie the strap and no worries to pair them up with a particular color or dress. These neutral color shoes go well with almost everything that you have in your wardrobe, from shorts to skirts to mid lengths to abayas.
I paired ’em up with a mid length off – white dress with a beige loose open cardigan. The matching color of cardigan and shoes was quite subtle and I went to the mall and later to a dinner wearing the same comfortable combination.
So let me wrap this here and until next time, Ciao!
