Whether you look at the celebrities or the fashion bloggers these days, there is always an unexpected pairing of traditional jewellery with western outfit. We see a lot of traditional gold, silver, Kundan, antique jewellery being paired up with body hugging dresses or layering. Some call it fusion and some bohemian , whatever it is, it very much sums up the modern lady with class and traditional roots.  So because this fusion trend is up on fleek, I thought of giving it a try myself, so lets see how I paired my ethnic earrings with daily western wear and tried acing this tricky style.

First

For my first look, I wore a denim long shirt (Buy a similar shirt here) with nike tights (Buy similar tights here) and laced up shoes (similar shoes here). The black sunglasses would have completed the look but there was no additional dimension to it. So my absolutely trustworthy silver chandbali earrings came handy and completed the look. This is more of an Indo western outfit, so styling becomes relatively easy.

Second

The second look had a simple white shirt with golden buttons and a staple pair of blue denims. Although a classic, but the look was quite dull and had no element of vibrancy. And coz the simplest outfit can be perked up with a gorgeous pair, hence I picked my semi chandbali with tassel combo earring . And I think the look was quite decent!

Third

Jhumka/Jhumki never goes out of style specially for Indian girls. We have paired them up with suits, lehnga, Anarkali and almost every ethnic outfit. But this piece is so versatile that even western wear looks chic when you accessorise it with this must have

(Must have earrings for girls)

I wore my traditional jhumkas with some layering. I styled them with a crop top, pair of jeans and an olive green jacket.

Fourth

Again my silver chandbalis but this time with an all western look. All blue denim look with a loose off white shirt was perfect for summers but the earrings had other plans and they awarded me with lot of passer by looks, admiration and compliments!

Fifth

This is one of my favorite looks with ethnic earrings. Honestly when I bought these rose gold tassels, I fell in love with them but wasn’t sure about the styling. But when I paired ’em up with my monochromatic outfit, they were a match made in heaven. They were subtle yet eye catching and I couldn’t have thought a better way to wear them!

So there it was, how I styled my everyday ethnic earrings with my daily western wear. I hope you find some inspiration nd you are ready to rule the fashion scene!

Until next time
