Hey people, Weathers come and go, but our skin needs its dose of moisture daily. It could be dry, oily or combination , but it always keeps on asking for that extra care. When my skin behaves well, I sometimes become a little lazy towards it, but it has a particular way of reminding me! The days I ignore it, it becomes red, acne prone and even threatens me with fine lines. So as an obedient kid, now I am very much “at your service” of my skin.
My skin is a sucker for The body shop products and I know it. But still I haven’t bought The Body Shop moisturisers in a very long time as I always felt I had other options . But this time, when I visited TBS shop, I was recommended this jar of “Drops of Youth Creme Jeunesse” by the sales girl. The title sounded intriguing “Drops of Youth” how could I resist? The idea of using plant stem cells was intriguing and the more I got to know about the christamarine and its rejuvenating properties the more I wanted to try it. So I bought a jar of this youthful mix and let my skin play. Below is how I felt.

WHAT IS PLANT STEM CELL TECHNOLOGY?
Primary plant stem cells are only found in the growth tips of the plant i.e. the roots and buds. Plant stem technology is based on the fact that all plant cells, under certain conditions, can reactivate its ‘stem cell like’ properties to generate new plant tissue. This process is the plants natural ‘protective’ mechanism.
When a plant is wounded the plant induces the formation of new tissue, called a callus, which contains ‘stem like cells’, to renew and regenerate the plant tissue. This natural process is then recreated in the lab to produce the plant stem cells extracts.
The advantage of stem cell technology is that it allows access to plant stem cells without the need to harvest the plants from the wild or from crops. The method also ensures a standardised composition, meaning that there is very little variation between batches, maintaining potency.
